The Educational Testing Service (ETS) of the United States has appointed the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority (HKEAA) to hold the GRE test in Hong Kong.
The test is delivered via the internet, and it has three main sections which are further divided into tasks. Total GRE has six sections to solve within four and a half hours. All sections are designed to measure the students’ argumentative writing, problem-solving, analyzing, critical or logical thinking and analytical writing skills and their ability to analyze, evaluate, and support complicated ideas effectively and clearly.
GRE in Hong Kong is composed of the following sections:
It has two separate tasks: one task analyzes an issue, and the second analyzes an argument.
It is the second part of the test, and it has two sections to solve, and each section has 20 questions.
It also has two sections with 20 questions each, and the time allowed to solve each section is the same.
All sections come in order in the test. Analytical Writing is the first one, and then Verbal Reasoning and Quantitative Reasoning. To attain a good score, you have to prepare for each section as all questions’ score counts. Therefore, we recommend you to take the help of professional online or private tutors of Hong Kong to perform well in all 82 questions of GRE.
The Analytical Writing section of the GRE test requires you to provide essay responses that are well-focused, examine, claim, and support ideas clearly with relevant reasons and examples. However, the other two sections of the test are in multiple-choice questions form.
The features of the test are advanced and freely let you move forward or backward through pages. You can skip a question for later and easily change or edit the answers to each section. Some features also let you review and preview capabilities, and an on-screen calculator is also allowed for the quantitative Reasoning section.
You can easily register online at the GRE official website. You can take the test at home or a test center. The student mostly prefers taking the test at centers because you have to meet certain environment and equipment requirements for home.
